Oskari Vappula

Oskari joined August in 2026, having first completed an internship with the firm in 2023. In consulting, he is driven by a curiosity about how companies reach their decisions and what separates a good choice from a defensible one. Prior to joining August, he worked in product management, private credit, and investment banking. Oskari holds a master’s degree in Management from London Business School and a bachelor’s degree in Finance from Aalto University, where he also worked as a research assistant.

During his free time, Oskari plays a variety of sports, with football and golf closest to his heart. He also enjoys running, reading widely, and playing chess.

Difficult client problems, taken on with colleagues who enjoy solving them, are why Oskari braves the future at August.
