Geopolitical turbulence – August x DIF event

August Associates and the Directors’​ Institute Finland organized a lunch meeting for board professionals and executives discussing the geopolitical turbulence and its effects on Finnish companies. Some of the topics discussed included the war in Ukraine, current business environment, cyber-attacks and security as well as funding the defense industry. The panel discussion featured Charly Salonius-Pasternak, senior researcher at the Finnish Institute of International Affairs, Christoph Vitzthum, President and CEO of Fazer, Heidi H. Fransila, director at Blic Public Affairs as well as Olli Lehtonen, one of our partners at August. The event was moderated by our partner Tomi Ere.
