Joel Leinonen

Joel has worked as a management consultant at August since fall 2021. He is intrigued by complex business problems and keen to help companies to develop the future. He particularly excels in analyzing challenging situations with large quantities of data and communicating these to clients.

Before joining August, Joel has worked as an economics consultant in Helsinki and Copenhagen. Joel has a master’s degree in Economics from Aalto University.

Outside of work, Joel likes to do various sports from racquet sports to exercise boxing. He usually also has some side projects ongoing, for example, crafting beer or building a bicycle. In addition, Joel is an enthusiastic photographer, and you may find him often behind the lens.

Joel likes to brave the future at August because he can work with unique business challenges impacting to the society with passionate colleagues.
